He also said that #3 brush aerator in Ditch #1 is not working right, and will need repair work in the future. Concerning mercury at Red Springs, Philip said that one of the dentist had a high Mercury level in the collection system and that the Interceptor will be worked on and the lateral for his office will be changed out. Concerning the Town of Parkton, Philip said that Terry Wages is now the ORC and Philip is now the Back -Up ORC. The paperwork is being sent in about the changes in responsibilities. Don Register wrote: ORC Philip Schroeder called to report the outer bearings on the #1 & #2 brush aerator, located on the #2 oxidation ditch were down for replacement. I asked if they were going to closed down the #2 ditch until the repairs were complete and he told me that the diversion valve did not work, which means the flow will continue into the off line ditch that has no aeration. (I called Public Works Director Bill Stone and shared this information with him). 1 of 1 2/6/2008 10:02 AM Parkton NC00265 Subject: Parkton NC00265 From: Don Register <Don.Register@ncmail.net> Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 14:30:10 -0500 To: Don Register <Don.Register@ncmail.net>, Hughie White <Hughie.White@ncmail.net>, Belinda Henson <Belinda.Henson@ncmail.net>, Dale Lopez <Dale.Lopez@ncmail.net>, Mark Brantley <mark.brantley@ncmail.net> Terry Wages called to report that the bearings in the brush aerator in ditch #2 have failed.
