The terrain is steep and the fill will accommodate the footprint of the proposed development and the fill slopes needed to maintain an adequate building area plateau. 4i. As mentioned above, the upland terrain is steep and shallow fill slopes will be created to accommodate the homesite. In order to minimize fill area needed, low retaining walls will be constructed on the eastern fill slope terminus. 1 b.
