I am opposed to the Westpoint development and its permit application. I do not think this project is in the
environment's interest or that of Durham residents. There are many issues not being addressed including water
quality, endangered and threatened species, West Point City Park and Historic Site.
A Public Hearing should be required for this development and environmental impact reports accessible for
review. This project has a significant public impact and needs greater oversight and a higher level of review.
