Site inspection was conducted by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office on October 22, 2021. Doug Phillips
and James Hutchins were present during the inspection. The following are items that need attention:
- Station Y 473+50 RT - Sediment was removed from behind checks in base ditch and not stabilized. Recommend
stabilizing spoils to prevent soil loss into N Muddy Creek.
- Station Y 464+50 LT - Ditch at toe of slope is bypassing basin. Coordinate with Roadside Environmental. DWR has
concerns with this and the lack of groundcover on the slopes.
NPDES records were on site and up to date.
Groundcover is required per NPDES stabilization timeframes.
