Permit Drawings showing added bank stabilization.pdf
Jeff,
Please disregard my previous email below about revising plans. After our phone conversation, I'm
fine with the minor change proposed. It is my understanding that the stream has migrated closer to
the road since this project was previously approved; and the bank stabilization is needed to prevent
the stream from migrating any closer to the road fill slope. Please take this email as DWR's
approval for adding 30 feet of bank stabilization to the stream per the note in the plans you
emailed me on 10/18/2021 (add attached to this email).
Thanks.

Jeff,
I think this is minor enough that I can handle the approval via email. Can you send me revised plans
showing the additional bank stabilization, along with a justification? Thanks.

Mr. Patterson,
I've gotten the Resident Engineer to provide me with a set of plans that show the location of the
additional bank stabilization and it is attached. See callout on page 3 of the permit drawings. Please
let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Jeff

Jeffrey — Once I get the plans from you, I'll be able to better see what the best way is (either full mod
or field mod). Thanks.

Subject: Iredell 212
Mr. Patterson,
I have a bridge replacement project in Iredell County that is going to need a little more bank
stabilization than we asked for in the original permit. I am having the Resident Engineer provide
some drawings as I type this. What is your preferred way for me to request additional impacts for
this project?
Thank you,
Jeffrey L. Wyatt
