The Eno river and the Eno River park are a vital area in Durham and surrounding areas. To have a development
impinge on that raises many concerns for me that I don't believe have been adequately explored: effects on the
quality of the water, effects on wildlife and species that are in danger, and the loss of multiple acres of forest.
I urge you to deny this project. The Eno is a draw for Durham residents, and for those looking to move here - it
adds to air quality, our sense of ease and recreation, and our understanding of the importance of nature.
Encroachment on it and actual threats to its natural condition will, over time, degrade the treasure that it is.
