I am opposed to the Westpoint development and their permit application. The idea of cramming 400 homes in
such close proximity to north Durham's most important natural area is madness. The negative impacts to the
Westpoint Park far outweigh any benefits of developing this land. The negative impacts to water quality in the
Eno and downstream should likewise be considered deal breakers. The idea of adding 400+ cars to
neighborhood streets or the already overcrowded Roxboro corridor is yet another strong negative to this plan. In
short, there are multiple compelling reasons not to move forward with this project; I have yet to learn of a single
convincing reason that that it should move forward. Please re -review all permits and reconsider the wisdom of
ruining Black Meadow Ridge for a developers poorly planned and poorly constructed townhome community.
