Attachments: 2011 -1109 Reeder -DWR Handouts.pdf Tom- It was good to see you last week in New Bern. I think it is great that you keep talking about the great work y'all are doing on both ecological flows and water efficiency! We are working on a new report on reservoirs, in particular looking at the financial burden that they can put on a community if the right process is not pursued. In general we are just looking for some historical data at this point. I am hoping that you can help me out in finding some of that info, so I have a couple questions: - One of my colleagues in GA was able to find the attached hand out that —from the hand written info - came from an update to the ERC in November of last year, is it accurate? - Would you or someone on your team happen to have information on the costs of the dams list on the sheet or be able to point us to where that info might be? - If y'all do have the cost info on the listed projects, would it possible to also get what the projected costs were and want the final costs were ( if they were not the same)? - Since Randleman was the last reservoir to be finished in NC, who is the best person to talk to about that project to get the nitty- gritty on the pros and cons of the project and what pushed it to completion? Is that you? - Looking forward the only dams truly being considered at this point are: Little River in Wake County, First Broad in Cleveland County, and Brunswick County's speculative water storage project... right? - Are there other impoundments out there that have been talked about but have never had any real serious consideration?
