SUBJECT: Compliance Inspection Report
196 Glen Meadow Drive
NPDES WW Permit No. NCG550651
Rockingham County
Dear Mr. Edwards:
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the septic
treatment system at 196 Glen Meadow Drive on September 30, 2021. This inspection was
conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and
limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG550651. The findings and comments
noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report
entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required. It was noted that you were unaware of the requirement to
conduct annual sampling of your wastewater. To achieve compliance, please complete
sampling as soon as possible. Once the sampling has been conducted, continue to retain all
documents related to the operation and maintenance of your system, including the enclosed
copy of your latest permit, as well as proof of septic tank servicing.
Furthermore, it appears that your permit is expired, and a renewal is due immediately.
Please see the enclosed renewal form for instructions. Prompt return of your renewal
paperwork is requested, as operating without a current permit is a violation of general
statutes and could result in enforcement action.
