This is an existing vacant residential lot in the Monterey Shores Subdivision in Corolla, Currituck County. The general land use in the vicinity is residential.

The purpose is to construct a single family residence on a sound front lot in the Monterey Shores Subdivision. The proposed residential construction will impact 0.35 acres of wetlands.
41. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used: *
The property will be cleared were proposed house is to be constructed. Silt fence will be installed at the wetland fill limits to prevent further impacts from surface runoff. Proposed fill
material to be placed on lot prior to house construction for access reasons. Indirect impacts from new impervious surfaces would include additional surface runoff. Surface runoff will be
minimal with Currituck County Stormwater requirements for new construction. Equipment to be used includes dump trucks, backhoe, and small tractor.

The proposed residence has access to the Monteray Shores Central wastewater system therefore, the house is not limited to a specific number of
bedrooms based on a onsite wastewater system. The house has been designed at Four bedrooms which has minimized the wetland impacts to 918
square feet.

The proposed house, driveway and parking will be constructed as close to the front property boundary as possible while still providing safe ingress
and egress to Sea Ridge Drive.
