Tom
As per your request, please find attached graphs for both the total average annual daily projected water demands and
the total projected max. day demands for the Broad River Water Authority, Cleveland County Water. Forrest City, Kings
Mountain and Shelby. I have also attached the Excel work sheets that generated these 2 graphs.
The total peaking factor used for the projected max. daily flows through 2060 was 1.558. This was based on a review of
the system's most recent LWSP (see attached summary sheet). This should be an over projection since the daily max.
for the 5 systems were normally not in the same month. For the 5 systems, we had at least one max. daily demands in
July, August, September and November. If we used the max. day from July for each systems, the peaking factor would
be only 1.31. Also much of the max. daily demands should be able to be handled through the proper use of storage.
Please let me know if you would like to discuss or if you need any additional information.
Thanks
Dennis
