Sufficient care is not being taken by the developer to ensure runoff will not pollute the river. The area is also
prone to flooding, and adding acres of concrete and asphalt to the area will cause more issues in the watershed.
The development will impact all of Durham negativity by pollution of drinking water and destruction of natural
land that is critical to the ecology of the city park. A project with such great impact to the community should be
subject to a public hearing.
