I have reviewed the information sent to me about the Ovata at Ascension project, which involves culverting
299 ft of an unnamed tributary to Smith Mill Creek and 0.009 acre of wetland in Buncombe County. The
project should not impact wild trout and a trout moratorium is not needed for this project. Thank you for
allowing me to review and offer comments on the project.
