Good afternoon. I’m following up on your email below and the status of repairs for the loss reported.
For the record, photo documentation is requested for the repairs and activities completed to maintain compliance
parameters. I’ve noted the incidents and repairs emailed on 6/7 and 6/17 (attached).
I’d like to take this opportunity to schedule a time to meet you or another Division representative on-site to become
more familiar with the project. Let me know what availability you have in the coming weeks.
James, if you’d like to attend, I’ll keep you posted on potential dates.

Subject: R-3421 A sediment loss
Highway Division 8 is reporting a sediment loss on the R3421-A project. The losses most likely occurred on Monday 7-19-
21 and were discovered during routine inspections yesterday 7-20.
The project station number of silt loss is 13+00-LPB-RT.+/-.
The rain fall total was listed as 1.354” on the state weather site. The estimated sediment loss amount is between 1 to
1.5 cubic yards.
The contractor has already commenced clean-up and repair.
Please let me know if you need additional information.
