BY VEGETATIVE COVER OR OTHER ADEQUATE EROSION CONTROL DEVICES OR STRUCTURES. IN ANY EVENT ,
SLOPES LEFT EXPOSED WILL WITHIN 7 OR 14 CALENDAR DAYS OF COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING BE
PLANTED OR OTHERWISE PROVIDED WITH TEMPORARY GROUND COVER, DEVISES OR STRUCTURES SUFFICIENT TO
RESTRAIN EROSION. PERMANENT GROUND COVER WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ALL DISTURBED AREAS WITHIN 15
WORKING DAYS OR NO MORE THAN 90 CALENDAR DAYS WHICH EVER IS SHORTER FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF
CONSTRUCTION.
MAINTENANCE PLAN
1. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES WILL BE CHECKED FOR STABILITY AND
OPERATION FOLLOWING EVERY RUN-OFF PRODUCING RAINFALL, BUT IN NO CASE LESS
THAN ONCE EVERY WEEK. NEEDED REPAIRS WILL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY TO MAINTAIN
ALL PRACTICES AS DESIGNED.
2. SEDIMENT WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SILT FENCE WHEN IT BECOMES 0.5 FEET DEEP.
3. ALL SEEDED AREAS WILL BE FERTILIZED, RE -SEEDED AS NECESSARY, AND MULCHED
ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFICATIONS IN THE VEGETATIVE PLAN TO MAINTAIN A
VIGOROUS, DENSE VEGETATIVE COVER.
4. ALL TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES WILL BE REMOVED UPON COMPLETION OF
CONSTRUCTION AND STABILIZATION OF GRADES.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. OBTAIN PLAN APPROVALS AND ALL APPLICABLE PERMITS.
2. FLAG LIMITS OF ROUGH ESTABLISH GRADE LIMITS AS NEEDED.
3. HOLD PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH GRADING CONTRACTOR, EROSION CONTROL
ADMINISTRATOR, PROJECT ENGINEER AND OWNER.
4. INSTALL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE AND PERIMETER SEDIMENT FENCE WHERE POSSIBLE AS THE
FIRST CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY PRIOR TO ANY SITE DEMOLITION OR GRADING.
5. COMPLETE DEMOLITION, FILL EXISTING DITCHES AS NOTED ON APPROVED CONSTRUCTION PLAN.
6. BEGIN SANITARY SEWER INSTALLATION.
7. INSTALL STORM DRAINAGE AND INLET PROTECTION AROUND CATCH BASINS AND DROP INLETS
AND INSTALL RIP RAP PROTECTION AND ENERGY DISSIPATERS.
8. INSTALL DRAINAGE, SWALES AND TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
AROUND FACILITIES AS REQUIRED TO CONTROL WATER RUN OFF THROUGHOUT THE SITE.
9. BEGIN AND COMPLETE ROUGH GRADING OPERATIONS, DISTRIBUTING SPOIL MATERIAL ON -SITE.
SPOIL MATERIAL SHALL NOT BE PLACED IN PROPOSED SEPTIC DRAINAGE FIELD AREAS.
10. BEGIN AND COMPLETE WATER LINE INSTALLATION.
11. COMPLETE ROAD CONSTRUCTION.
12. COMPLETE FINAL GRADING FOR RIGHT OF WAY AND LOTS. WITHIN 6" OF FINAL GRADE,
REDISTRIBUTE 6" OF TOPSOIL AND INSTALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES PER APPROVED PLAN.
13. PROVIDE A GROUND COVER (TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT) ON EXPOSED SLOPES WITHIN 14
CALENDAR DAYS FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING FOR SLOPES 3:1 OR
FLATTER INCLUDING ALL OTHER SLOPES 4:1 OR FLATTER; PROVIDE A GROUND COVER
(TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT) ON EXPOSED SLOPES WITHIN 7 CALENDAR DAYS FOLLOWING
COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING FOR SLOPES 3:1 OR STEEPER INCLUDING ALL
PERMANENT DIKES, SWALES, DITCHES AND SLOPES AND
DISTURBANCES WITHIN HIGH QUALITY WATER (HQW) ZONES.
14. ADDITIONAL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL MEASURES MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE
STATE, LOCAL MUNICIPALITY OR OWNER IF DEEMED NECESSARY.
15. AFTER SITE IS STABILIZED, REMOVE ALL TEMPORARY MEASURES, FINE GRADE DISTURBED AREAS,
