This review was conducted to determine whether the program is being maintained in compliance with Permit No. WQ0010615. Maggie Valley distributed 64 tons of residuals and landfilled 151 dry tons in 2020. No residuals were stockpiled for the year. Pathogen and Vector Attraction Reduction: Based on the values reported over 72 hours, the facility met the requirements for alkaline treatment and stabilization. It is recommended staff document in the comments section that no additional lime is added to meet the VAR option, alkaline stabilization, requirements. All fecal results were less than 1000 MPN/gram and the %TS was greater than 70% over all four quarters. Hazardous Waste Characterization: Required annually. All parameters appeared to be in compliance with federal narrative and numerical limits. Metals, Nutrients, and additional monitoring: Calculated SAR value is less than 10. Metal pollutant parameters are under ceiling and monthly concentration limits. All additional monitoring appears to be complete for 2020.
