After looking at the drawing and talking with you on the phone I understand that the slope stabilization measures will be above the normal water line. I will include the revised drawings in the file. The permit is still valid and does not have to be modified since no additional impacts to 'Waters of the US' are proposed. The original permit drawings just showed turf reinforcing mat on the banks. We would like to install rip rap to minimize erosion and maintenance. Can you let me know if this is acceptable? Can you also tell me who I need to get in touch with from DWR to review this change as well? I called Amy Adams in the Washington Office (her name is on the permit), however I haven't heard back. If you have any questions or need more information, just let me know. Thanks. Preston Royster, PE Facilities Construction Engineer N.C.
