The purpose of the site visit was to make observations of completed repairs to the stormwater detention pond as indicated in your response letter dated September 9, 2011. As a result of the site visit, it has been determined that the recommended actions regarding the stormwater detention pond relayed in the Compliance Evaluation Inspection report dated August 16, 2011 have been addressed and the site is now in compliance. Please be reminded as discussed during the site visit, that the Stormwater Management Permit requires the detention pond to be routinely observed and maintained at optimal conditions so as to achieve the necessary stormwater treatment. These observations and any necessary maintenance conducted should be documented and made available to DWQ upon request. Your time and assistance in addressing these matters is greatly appreciated. Met with Pastor Lynn McLaurin and observed repairs made to the forebay berm and level spreader. It also appeared that the plants along the vegetated shelf would continue to establish as water level returns to normal pool after a hot, dry summer. The purpose of the inspection was to ensure compliance with State Stormwater Management Permit SW6080701 that was issued on July 29, 2008. A copy of the Compliance Inspection Report is enclosed for your review. As a result of the inspection and subsequent file review, it has been determined that the facility is Not Compliant. The required actions that are necessary to bring this site into compliance are noted under the Inspection Summary and Comments sections of the report. You are asked to provide this office a written/typed response within 30 calendar days from receipt of this letter. Your response should specify actions that will be undertaken and the time frame that will be required to correct the deficiencies.
