These revisions were based upon feedback from other review entities. These revisions include the following: • Minor revisions have been made to the proposed basin maps to adjust a couple of areas not being routed correctly. There were also a couple of revisions to the Tc values for several basins. The revisions are as follows: - Increased Basin A due to bypass swale. - Decreased Basin E due to bypass swale. - Adjusted the Tc of Basin E due to there no longer being channel flow just before the basin and also due to the reduction in basin area. - Adjusted the Tc of Basin L due to there no longer being channel flow just before the basin. • Detention calculations have been revised to show the volume of the pond beginning at ground level and disregarding the media storage volume as well as the volume of the rock berm separating the forebay. The effects from exfiltration and underdrains have also been disregarded. • There have been several storm drain inlets that have been added to the project to help reduce several areas of high spread. • The twin 60 inch culvert crossing has been revised to reflect the change in hydrology mentioned above. Revise the SCM's to be from the list of primary SCM's to treat the water quality volume (1" ). Dry pools are secondary SCM's. Provide supporting calculations for the SCM water g4plity designs. Considering that rural nature of the watershed and the very small percentage of impervious areas that will be added due to our project we are proposed a LID approach to water quality. A Storm-EZ for has been provided for the project that indicates water quality treatment volume matching has been achieved. A significant portion of the project area is being considered disconnect based upon recommendations from NCDEQ staff. Submit supplement forms for the SCMs. The new Supplement EZ can be found on our website: https:Hdeg.nc.gov/about/divisions/energy-land-resources/ebergy-mineral-land-permit- guidance/stormwater-bmp-manual Supplement EZ forms have been completed and included with this correspondence. Due to the fact that the Treatment Swales are in series with the Dry Ponds and that they were not designed for any particular drainage area, supplement forms for the swales have not been provfde a Disconnected impervious areas were designated such due to the fact that the runoff will be transported by vegetated zones towards protected stream buffers prior to entry into the intermittent streams. There is no associated SCM designed for this disconnected runoff, therefore supplement forms have not been provided. t9/The calculations must be sealed, signed and dated. Copies of the calculations that have been signed, sealed and dated have been provided as /an attachment to this correspondence. M. The proposing LID per page 5-4 of the SMP, you must submit the Storm-EZ form and show volume matching. Storm EZ forms have been completed and are provided as an attachment to this correspondence. &Due to the nature of the above comments, additional comments may be forthcoming once revisions are submitted. Noted. In addition to the response to comments above, the plans and calculations have been revised to incorporate comments from other agencies. The response to the comments resulted in minor changes in drainage areas and the storm sewer system.
