Division of Water Resources (DWR) received the two courtesy copy sets for the above referenced project on September
9, 2013. The project does not meet any of the thresholds for written concurrence by DWR; however, it has been marked
on the PCN that you are seeking 401 Water Quality Certification which would lead us to request a fee of $240.
Should you not require written certification then the PCN will just be reviewed in the Winston Salem Regional Office for
any potential problems or oversights.
Please let me know which route you'd like to take and I'll move the application along today.

Got 2 copies of this in on Monday. It's a NW3 impacted 0.64 of open water. They are calling courtesy because it does
not meet any of the thresholds required for written approval — however, they did check that they want written
