Robert and Ryan – Nice to meet both of you and let me know if I can ever be of any assistance! Also, let me know if any of you have additional questions or concerns regarding the sites we visited yesterday. I’m going to send an email out to the R-2915E staff and discuss a few items from our visit yesterday. Those will include: 1) making sure the ground cover they put at the bore and jack permit modification site within the wetland at Permit Site 8 doesn’t contain any non-native seed, and see what the tackifier/green paper contains. This area will change a lot over the next couple of weeks, but will eventually be seeded with native seed mix, covered with core fiber, and we will plant silky dogwood and willow live stakes along the creek and within the wetland area. 2) We will continue to monitor the EC measures at permit site 2 – we obviously lost some sediment to the stream at this location, but I’m hoping the work they conducted yesterday morning along the ditch line that feeds that area will help reduce future issues at this site. I plan to visit this area this afternoon, as it has been raining up there most of the morning, so should be a good time to check. 3) Also at Permit site 2, at the pipe inlet, we will place a large flat Class I or a few Class B stones in the bottom of the pool at the pipe inlet to help reduce additional scour and a potential head cut. I’ll make sure the rock(s) does not fill the pool entirely, but just want to cover the bottom to prevent any new scour. We will also fix the erosion issue around the drop inlet/pipe area at the last site we visited yesterday. It looks like most of the issue was from water running down the ditchline. Some older wattles were left around the drop inlet that may be blocking the flow and causing water coming down the ditch line to flow around the box and enter from the other side. However, the hillside between the concrete apron and the drop inlet is also showing some erosion. Not sure if that’s from water jumping out of the concrete apron instead of going into the pipe, or an older issue that formed before we installed the concrete apron and just never was fixed back correctly. Regardless, we will do some work at this site. Dave – I went by the other sites on your list (attached below) and everything appeared to be in good shape, but more than happy to visit next time you are up here. I attached a photo of several of those sites above. Lemly Hill and Stat 182 seemed to be doing well, but will be easier to provide photos of, or visit once the vegetation dies back a bit. Thanks! Meeting location and time TBD. Hey Kevin, Some sites I would like to take a look at next week are below:  E-Section – permit modification area Site 8; Site 15, 2 and anything else that may be active or near completion on the E-section given that we want to see those areas below too if possible;  D-Section – Site 6 outlet. We took a look at in 2019 to discuss a rock vane in the outlet or leave as is. Good discussion points to review and see how it looks now;  C Section – Moore and Poling Waste Pits restored; Site 13A there was some discussion on baffles in the culvert as I recall; Site 15 culvert; Lemly Rd area downstream of Permit Site 1,2 where there were sediment issues in the JS and Koi pond in 2017;  B Section – Station 182 wetland area and PSH vs. riprap pad; 57-stone clean-up from a previous inspection;  A Section - Site 16 outlet repairs we discussed in Nov last year. PSH between sites 19 and 20. Thanks. Dave W.
