Per my review and onsite site visit, I have the following comments for you to incorporate into a final report:  Please add a table of contents  Introduction & Background: rd 3 paragraph: In your summary of the restoration, please provide the total amount of Tar Pamlico o riparian buffer restoration in both acres and square feet. please provide the total amount of the nutrient offset “riparian areas” in both acres and pounds of o Nitrogen & Phosphorous. please provide a statement that defines the Drainage District this mitigation site is located in. o (Edgecombe County Drainage District #2). And, please reference the letter (which I have) that GES received from Edgecombe Soil & Water Conservation District as I will be placing this letter in the AsBuilt report file. This letter confirmed that there are no drainage easements or structures that would be encumbered by the Evans Ballahack Bank.  Plantings & Monitoring Plot Implementation: we decided onsite to remove Plot #BLK-1 from along UT-B. We determined that it didn’t provide an o adequate representation of the site as a whole, in part due to the fact that GES planted leftover plants in this area. Therefore, we determined to remove Plot #BLK-1 from your As-Built report, thus providing 4 monitoring plots instead of 5, which is still compliant with the 2% monitoring plot requirement provided in the CVS protocol. please edit the entire As-Built (Text and Figures) to provide for this change. th 7 paragraph: o please state that monitoring will occur anytime between Late August – October 2013  please describe what “mechanical” means in terms of maintaining the site  Table 3: please provide the approximate size (in acres) of the monitoring plots. (example: .0247 acres?) o certified survey enumerating the nutrient offset acres separate from the riparian buffer acres. ( I think o Jeff said he’s getting this, so just make sure it’s part of the final when you submit it to DWR)  Figure 4 – Soils Map modify the map such that the hydrology features can still be seen within the bank’s boundary o  Figure 6d - Monitoring Plot BLK-4 please remove water oak and willow oak from your vegetation data. This reflects the comments made o in the approved BPDP. Thanks again for assisting me out at the site last week. I really appreciate it. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions regarding this correspondence.
