Benson Grove Mitigation Site
ONEID 051-003

The Benson Grove Site is located in Johnston County within the USGS hydrologic unit 03020201
of the Neuse River. NCDOT acquired the site to mitigate for unavoidable, jurisdictional impacts
associated with TIPs R-2000, R-2547/R-2641. Monitoring requirements were performed from
2002 to 2006 and the site was closed out in 2006. Table 1 shows the final mitigation quantities
approved for the site. The site was transferred to EEP for long term management. Tables 2 and 3
indicate all mitigation debits that have occurred per regulatory agency approval.

In order to offset unavoidable impacts associated with W-5600, Benson Grove Mitigation site
will debited at 0.02 acres at a 1:1 ratio. Debits are shown below
