Dear Ms. Eckardt:
The Division of Water Resources (Division) Winston -Salem Regional Office has reviewed the
2012 Buffer Mitigation Site Year 1 Annual Monitoring Report for the above - referenced site
received February 12, 2013. In addition, a site visit was conducted by myself and Katie Merrit
from DWR on July 17, 2013 with you and Daniel Taylor from the Wildlands Engineering and
Kristie Corson from NCEEP. At this time the Division considers this mitigation site as meeting
year one goals for a buffer mitigation site and no remedial /restoration action is necessary. The
Division will continue to review annual monitoring reports until the site is deemed successful
and closed out by the Division.
