Hey Olivia,
I just talked to Justin the guy doing the work. He said the slope will be built back as a 3:1 or less steep grade, not using
soil lifts, but he plans on putting the heavy coconut fiber down and trenching it in so it stays in place. The work will only
take 2-3 days. He agreed to a condition that he will only use native plants both herbaceous seed mix and trees and he
asked for a recommended list as he hasn't sourced the veg yet. If you want to make some recommendations he'd gladly
take them. I have the standard riparian veg lists but not necessarily good upland slope stabilization recommendations.

Hi Olivia,
Thank you. For McCloskey - I'll reach out to the guy doing the work for the homeowner. He's a young landscaper trying
to start into projects like these and I met him on site to discuss before. I'll contact him and talk about some of this and
then add into the approval, that will probably make more sense to him. Thanks.

Hi Sue,
I have no comment on the Patterson Ave repair. I am checking back with the aquatic biologist on the Megasite response
to comments.
I do not have any species concern for the McCloskey project, although I have it on a UT to Muddy Creek. Just to make
sure I understand, he is using compacted soil lifts with coconut coir matting and stakes to stabilize it rather than rip rap
etc. Are they going to slope the banks at all for floodplain access? Would he use willow stakes? He should use native
plants and no lespedeza/tall fescue for temp. stabilization. I can always email him too or let me know if you are just
going to add it in comments.
I am working on the other projects.
