At first I understood the foundation was to be designed such that it acted as a retaining wall, but I believe this may have been a miscommunication. I believe, there will need to be a little fill outside the foundation, so we will revise the PCN once we get the ratio right. Not signing it was just a brain goof on my part.. the revised one will be signed... promise. Thanks for your help Gene From: Bailey, David E SAW [mailto: David. E. I have reviewed the information and offer the following comments to be addressed before your application can be considered complete: 1) Section A3 of the PCN: the owner's address and other contact info is required. 2) You must sign AND date the PCN; 3) Thanks for the plan sheet. However, in Section D1b of the PCN you state that the back foundation wall is will act as a retaining wall; yet the plan sheet does not show the foundation wall acting as a retaining wall. Instead, a 1:1 slope is shown which is much too steep for stability purposes. Please either revise the PCN or revise the plans such that they are consistent and that a stable slope /wall is designed. 4) Similarly, the driveway fill is shown at a 1:1 slope. Please revise the PCN and plans such that a stable slope is designed. Please submit the above information within 30 days of receipt of this Notification or we will consider your application withdrawn and close the file. If you have any questions please let me know. -Dave Bailey David E.
