At this time, the numerous alternatives to constructing a new water supply reservoir include purchase from other municipalities, conservation practices, and so on. To date, an application for 404/401 has not been submitted. It will not be submitted until least damaging, practical alternative is identified through the stakeholder process, and the NEPA document is complete. The Corps controls the PDT stakeholder process, and oversees the NEPA documentation, which is prepared by a consultant.
