This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Collection System Permit No. WQCSD0067. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Collection System Sampling inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Asheville Regional Office. This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with permit no. WQCSD0367. Jamison Burleson (Maintenance Director), Robby Woody (WWTP ORC, Water Quality Labs), and Charles Vines (Mayor), were present during the inspection. The collection system services approximately 400 people and contains no lift stations. There are two restaurants in operation that discharge to the system, neither of which have grease traps. The manhole on the creek walk next to the soccer fields sits at the edge of an eroded bank. Mr. Burleson stated that Mr. Vines has been making plans to move this manhole to the other side of the walkway. The following violations were noted during the inspection: 1. Spills and Response Action Plan: A Spill Response Plan has not been developed. 2. Grease Control: An enforceable grease program has not been developed and educational material is not being mailed as required. 3. General: Maintenance is not documented. 4.
