This letter serves as the report of the BMP (Best Management Practices) Review for the above -mentioned farm as
required by permit Condition 1.16, which states "The Permittee shall review the facility's CAWMP with respect to land
application areas in landscape positions that are in close proximity to public roads, dwellings and wells, including but
not limited to Pulls 17, 18 and 19. Within 180 days of issuance of this permit, the Permittee shall provide a report to the
Division to describe what, if any, additional best management practices are to be implemented in these areas to improve
protections and further reduce the risk of off -site impacts."
The application fields at this farm were designed for applications in accordance with the setbacks and buffers required
at the time these fields were first utilized for application. Over the years, additional BMP's have been implemented, such
as planting miscanthus along field borders to add screening and improve existing buffers, and by converting application
equipment from reels to aerway to eliminate potential for drift. With these additional BMP's and on -going
evaluations/audits of the farm through our ISO 14001 Certified Environmental Management System, it was determined
that no additional BMP's will be implemented at this time.
