Project Name: Covil Estates -Snug Harbour Phase I and Key Colony Project Number: 930303 Control Measure: 25 % Low Density with Curb Outlet System Water Body: Howe Creek Classification: SA ORW Directions to site, address: Off Military Cutoff Road, near intersection with Market Street. 2. Inspection Date: August 9, 1996 Kj 4 5 Weather Conditions: Warm, sunny Comparison of Approved plans vs. As -Built: See Comments below: Maintenance Problems: Snug Harbour: a. Severe erosion at the comer of Snug Harbour Drive and Covil Farm Road. b. The swale beside the first house on the left on Snug Harbour Drive is questionable. Although well grassed, the edge of the curb appears too high to allow runoff to enter. Runoff appears to bypass the grassed swale. Key Colony: a. Additional catch basins and piping collect runoff directly into a low area without benefit of either the required 100' grassed swale or a revised plan application. b. Concrete flumes necessary to pick up runoff from opposite side of road have not been constructed. PE Certification Received? N/A Deed Restrictions Received? YES -Snug Harbour Phase I only. Still need for Key Colony. 6. Comments: a. Please fix the erosion problem at Snug Harbour Drive and Covil Farm Road. If additional piping other than what previously existed is needed, you must submit a revised plan. b. Please investigate the swale and determine that the runoff does not bypass the swale. If bypassing is occurring, please fix the problem. Mr. Harris Inspection Report Stormwater Project No. SW8 930303 C. In Key Colony, please provide revised plans, calculations, application and $225.00 application fee indicating the new swale location, and delineating the new drainage areas due to the new swale and the concrete flumes not being constructed.
