Subject: Receipt of Corrected DMRs
Dear Mr. Ellis:
Our office is in receipt of the corrected DMRs from August 1996 through
July 1999 as requested in my inspection report dated September 17, 1999. We
realize this was a tremendous amount of added work to your facility staff. We
apologize for any confusion that has occurred concerning the required reporting
on the DMRs. As stated in the previous inspection report based on
Administrative Code Section: 15A NCAC 2B .0506-(b)(3)(J) which states "The
results of all tests on the characteristics of the effluent, including but not limited to
NPDES Permit Monitoring Requirements, shall be reported on monthly report
forms."
We all are working towards a common goal which is protection of our
receiving streams which requires compliance with the NPDES permit. Please
continue with your conscientious efforts for complete compliance with the
NPDES permit. If you or your staff need further assistance do not hesitate to
