North Carolina Division of Water Quality
Attn: Ms. Jennifer Burdette
Dear Ms. Burdette,
This correspondence is with regards to the State's 401 Water Quality certification for Project # 12 -0825
Roughton Commercial Complex, Dare County. Condition 43 of Certification #3960 requires a final,
written Stormwater Management Plan be submitted to the State Stormater Section within 60 days of the
issuance of the 401 Water Quality Certification.
We are awaiting the Section 404 approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers before preparing the
details required by the State Stormwater regulations. This request is for a 180 -day extension of the
requirement to file the Stormwater Management Plan which should allow adequate time for the Corps to
reach a decision and final plans to be prepared.
I would appreciate confirmation of the request for extension and remain available to answer any questions
you may have with regards to this matter.
Sincerely,
Environmental Professio'KA, Inc.
