4a. Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinityof the project at the time of this application:*
An open stream runs through an area very close to the school. The school wishes to pipe approximately 160 LF of stream to mitigate a dangerous condition that exists in an area the
school needs to use for physical education activities. The steep stream banks and the large open pipe presents a danger to the students.

The purpose of this project is to place a stream in a pipe to create a level area that can be used for physical education activities and to remove the danger of a student falling into the
stream or having access to the large open pipe.

The existing pipe will be extended and the stream placed in the pipe in order to create an area for school activities. As it exists now, the large open pipe and steep stream banks present
a safety concern for the students.
