Dear Mr. Litvak:
The Division of Water Quality received your courtesy copy Pre Construction Notification application for a
Nationwide 39 Permit and a 401 General Water Quality Certification #3402 on October 19, 2006, previously
submitted August 8, 2005. You are proposing to impact 0.23 acres of Section 404/401 Wetlands for the purpose of
constructing asingle-family residential subdivision. You are authorized to proceed with your project as proposed
under General Water Quality Certification (WQC) # 3402 (enclosed). This Certification can also be found on line
at: http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands/certs.html. This Certification allows you to use the Nationwide 39 Permit
when issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Written concurrence from the Division of Water Quality (DWQ)
is not required provided that you can meet all of the conditions of the General Water Quality Certification.
If at anytime during construction of your project you determine that you cannot meet these conditions or if there
are any additional impacts to wetlands or water quality not described in your application, you must contact
this office immediately.
