Donna Hood Please give a brief project description below and include location information.* The Town of Huntersville in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina proposes to widen the existing two lane section of Gilead Road to a four lane median-divided curb and gutter section from Wynfield Creek Parkway to McCoy Road(U-6106).The proposed widening will include adding turn lanes to Gilead Road, adding bike and pedestrian accommodations, and adding a turn lane from McCoy Road onto Gilead Road.The proposed project length is approximately 0.75 mile. A Natural Resources Technical Report(NRTR) has been prepared to assist in the planning and preliminary design efforts. Surface waters including perennial and intermittent streams were identified within the study area.Wetlands were also identified within the study area.A Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination Package was issued by USACE on March 7,2019.
