The current notice involves: Corps Action ID#: SAW-2021-00489 Bank Sponsor: Environmental Banc & Exchange, LLC (Mr. Matt Butler) Project Name: RES Cape Fear 02 UMBI, Tobacco Road Mitigation Project (Alamance County) Issue Date: June 25, 2021 Expiration Date: July 25, 2021 Point of Contact: Samantha Dailey Project Description: The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received a request to modify the RES Cape Fear 02 Umbrella Mitigation Banking Instrument (SAW-2016-01258), for the addition of the Tobacco Road Mitigation Project. The Bank Sponsor, Environmental Banc & Exchange, LLC, would restore, enhance, and preserve approximately 12,291 linear feet of stream channel and 0.58 acre of wetland that would be used to offset impacts authorized as part of future Federal and State permits. The project area is located near the intersection of Thom Road and NC Highway 54, in Mebane, Alamance County, North Carolina.
