RE: Notice of Deficiency
Tracking #: NOD-2021-LV-0145
Camp Watia WWTP
NPDES Permit No. NC0089478
Swain County
Dear Ms. Armeni,
Per the Notice of Deficiency for Camp Watia WWTP; for the monthly average exceeding
for Nitrogen, Ammonia Total for the month of July, 2021, this was due to the blower
timer going bad and not turning the blowers off. This in turn did not allow for Ammonia
reduction. This has been repaired and Ammonia is being monitored per NPDES permit.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
