ORC says
"The weekly average of BOD results on Long Creek WWTP's effluent for the week of 7/12/21 - 7/16/21 was 7.7 mg/L, which is
above the weekly limit of 7.5 mg/L. As reported to Mr. Ori Tuvia at the Mooresville Regional Office on July 22, 2021, the elevated
BOD results were due to reduced filter backwashing necessitated by a faulty chlorine diaphragm that caused a chlorine leak when
the filters were backwashed. After identification and replacement of the chlorine diaphragm, regular filter backwashing resumed
and BOD results returned to normal. Please refer to the July 22, 2021 email to Mr. Tuvia for a more detailed account." The
missing BOD will be fixed in a revised EDMR. I think giving the facility compliance and the low percent the Violation could be BPJ
or NOD.
