Thanks Paul. These look consistent with the discussion.

FIELD REVIEW:
Wells 5 and 7 did not make it last year, not checked this year. Culvert at the end of the project cloggs up and backs up water.
Rose continues to be treated. Landowner passed away, currently no intention to do anything with the home.
Began at the crossing on Reach 1 between the restoration and preservation reach. Start of the preservation reach had plastic and
sand bags in the channel that will be removed. Not sure if this material was used as part of any restoration. Removal of
monitoring features once project is closed out will be a future requirement.
Confirmed that the ditch that ran along the edge of the site was plugged at the lower end.
Good herbaceous diversity in the floodplain.
EWS had random veg plots but did not do them correctly which is why it wasn't submitted. Data will be in next years report.
They will also be adding a maintenance log for wells.
Soil plug pulled near well 5 had some redox but very brown. Will need to be an area to watch.
Some mortality of trees because it wasn't planted with appropriate trees. At bottom wetland and did a supplemental plant.
Getting shade on stream will be important. A lot ofjuncus currently.
Privet at the bottom near the edge will need to be treated.
Very dense American sycamore from natural recruitment.
Recommend: Soil profile near failing wells (GW5 &GW7) in monitoring years 3,5, & 7. Remove plastic and sandbags from
preservation area. Veg transect wetland c near veg plot 3. Stream photos. Also Continue to treat invasive spp (privet and rose).
Identify replant info in next report to include density spp size. Transects some closer to stream, shading is important. Photo
document of stream restoration area (Reach 1D) below the culvert- there are 2 cross sections here and EWS states the XS will
indicate it is not trending toward being a wetland.
