Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project -I We have designed the stormwater management to have one discharge point, through one 24" pipe to minimize impacts. The buffer will be protected with a tree protection/sediment fence. The discharge point will be located directly at the top of bank in order to minimize erosion. 1 b, Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques., Impacts will be minimized by using smaller and lighter equipment near the Neuse River Buffer, rather than large, heavy equipment. During construction, the limits of the tree protection fencing will be observed and maintained. 2. Compensatory Mitigation for Impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State 2a.
