To date, the Division's records show that the following civil penalties assessed against your facility
remain unpaid:

The total amount of unpaid penalties is $2,459.84. These penalties are now subject to
collection by the Attorney General's office (AGO), pursuant to 15A NCAC 02J.0110.
The NC DEQ Fayetteville Regional Office (FRO) offered your municipality a settlement
agreement for the penalties listed above. To date, we have not received any payments
from the settlement, and must therefore assume you have rejected the offer. If you have
agreed to the settlement, please submit the agreed -upon payments immediately to prevent
further action regarding these cases.
If you do not agree to the settlement, you must pay the full amount listed above no later
than October 7, 2021. Make checks payable to NC DEQ and include the case number[s]
on the check[s] submitted.

In addition to payment of the penalty, the violations addressed by these
assessments and any impacts to waters of the State must be abated and properly
resolved. Additional assessments may be levied for future, continuing, or other violations
beyond the scope of these specific assessments. You are encouraged to contact the FRO at
(910) 433-3300 if you need assistance in achieving compliance at the site.
