CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE FOR ALL STREAM CROSSINGS
(SEE NOTE ABOVE CONCERNING NPDES PERMIT)
1. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL TEMPORARY CREEK CROSSING AS
DETAILED. THE TEMPORARY CREEK CROSSING SHALL BE
INSTALLED ON THE UPSTREAM PORTION OF THE EASEMENT' AN
ADEQUATE DISTANCE TO ALLOW SEWER LINE INSTALLATION.
�2. PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE SEWER LINE ACROSS THE CREEK, THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL A TEMPORARY DAM UPSTREAM OF THE
�CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES, AND PUMP THE STREAM FLOW AROUND THE
AREA OF DISTURBANCE. THE TEMPORARY DAM SHALL BE OF A
NON —ERODIBLE MATERIAL SUCH AS SAND BAGS OR PLASTIC SHEETING
OVER STONE.
3. UPON COMPLETION OF THE SEWER LINE INSTALLATION CROSSING
THE CREEK, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STABILIZE ALL DISTURBED AREAS
WITH RIP —RAP (SEE DETAIL).
4. UPON COMPLETION OF RIP —RAP, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE
THE TEMPORARY DAM, AND TERMINATE BYPASS PUMPING.
5. AT WHICH TIME THE SEWER LINE INSTALLATION HAS PASSED ALL
TESTING, AND THE AREA SEEDED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE
THE TEMPORARY CREEK CROSSING, AND RE—ESTABLISH ORIGINAL
CREEK BANK ELEVATIONS.
