Stormwater Permit No. SW8030720 — Express, Minor Modification

Dear Ms. Austin:
The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), accepted an Express
Stormwater Management Permit Minor Modification Application for the subject project on
August 30, 2021. A review of that information has determined that the application is not
complete. The following information is needed to continue the stormwater review:
1. Please correct the "Future BUA" amount as shown in minor modification description
(Section A8 of the minor modification application). The description currently lists the
future BUA as 192,590 sf whereas the permitted future BUA value is 190,962 sf.
2. Please provide a copy of the minor modification application with an original signature in
Section D of the application (per Section B 1 of the application).
3. A $4,000 express fee check was provided for this review. Since the requested review is
for an express minor modification, the correct review fee is $1,500. Please provide a
check for this amount (per Section B4 of the application).
4. There appears to be a rounding error in the Proposed Permit BUA table. Adding up the
BUA values in the table results in a total BUA of 960,508 sf whereas 960,509 sf is
shown. Please revise.
5. Please provide a hard copy of the BUA calculations (breaking down the BUA to be
removed and new BUA to be added). An electronic version of this item was provided, but
a hard copy was not.

6. Provide pdfs of all revisions, 2 hardcopies of revised plan sheets, 1 hardcopy of other
documents, and a response to comments letter briefly describing how the comments have
been addressed.

The requested information should be received by this Office prior to September 7, 2021, or
the application will be returned as incomplete. The return of a project will necessitate
resubmittal of all required items, including the application fee. Please reference the State
assigned project number SW8030720 on all correspondence.
If you need additional time to submit the information, please submit your request for a time
extension to the Division at the contact below. The request must indicate the date by which you
expect to submit the required information.
The construction of any impervious surfaces, other than a construction entrance under an
approved Sedimentation Erosion Control Plan, is a violation of NCGS 143-215.1 and is subject
to enforcement action pursuant to NCGS 143-215.6A.
