Dear Mr. Thomas:
Reference is made to your request for rescission of the subject State Stormwater Management Permit
received on August 26, 2021. Staff of the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR) in the
Fayetteville Regional Office has confirmed that this permit is no longer required because permit
SW6100902 (Wedgefield), originally issued on October 19, 2010, was modified on September 13, 2011 to
incorporate a portion of the drainage area from Wedgefield Phase III. Additionally, permit SW6180604
(Wedgefield Phase IV Subdivision), originally issued on August 7, 2018 and transferred on September 13,
2021, incorporates the remaining drainage area from Wedgefield Phase III.
Therefore, in accordance with your request, State Stormwater Management Permit SW6110702 is
rescinded effective immediately.
