We would like to request a site meeting on July 24th to review our findings. Corey Novak and I visited the site last Friday,
following the bush - hogging, to delineate any wetlands onsite. We conducted a thorough evaluation within each
delineation shown of the previous map, collected site data and have determined there are no wetlands present. We are
collecting the historical precipitation data currently to add to our findings but we found no indicators of wetland
hydrology. We will examine any areas on site you feel are necessary. Please let us know what time works for your
schedule, morning preferably. Thanks for your assistance.

Oops! I'll send out a revised copy of the 401 for New Hanover today.
1 spoke to Ronnie Smith the afternoon of our meeting and Emily Hughes this morning. Ronnie said that he did review
the boundary and felt like the consultants had done a good job on the boundaries. He also said that the site was
delineated and verified during drought conditions, so they assumed that areas with hydrophytic vegetation and hydric
soils would meet wetland hydrology criteria during normal climatic conditions. I explained that you did not observe
wetland hydrology in several of the wetlands identified. Both Ronnie and Emily said that they did not need to be
involved in the re- delineation since there are no 404 wetlands on the site. However, Emily would like to receive a copy
of the re- delineation for their files and to assist with any future requests for a JD on the property.

I received the 401 WQC for the Retail Center in Northern New Hanover Co. today. Thanks so much for getting that out. I
noticed that Condition #2 references Timberlake Farm Mitigation Bank instead of Northeast Cape Fear Mitigation Bank in
a couple of places. Can you change this and resend?

Also- has Karen or you had a chance to speak with Ronnie Smith about the JD for the Sampson Co. site? I have a
meeting with Corey Glenn today and I know he is going to ask for an update.
