This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG550191. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Asheville Regional Office. This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Richard Roberts (Owner) was present during the inspection. The following deficiencies were noted during the inspection: 1. Septic Tank: Septic tank records were not available at the time of the inspection. Mr. Roberts stated that the tank has not been pumped in more than 5 years. Mr. Roberts is currently on the waitlist with a septic company to have the tank pumped. 2. Effluent Pipe: The effluent pipe could not be located during the inspection. Mr. Roberts stated that the system has never discharged. The previous owner lives next door and checks the discharge pipe.
