Hi, Jim,
I was in the office this morning but had several meetings before an appointment this afternoon. I'll be in tomorrow
again but have meetings until 11. I'm glad to try and talk after that. If it's specifically about your COC, you can email me
ahead of time, and I'll see if I can provide better assistance.
Thanks,
Bethany

Hi, Jim,
The general permit has been issued, but we have not generated renewal COCs yet. They will be available next week; be
sure to check our website (the General Permit section) for updates.
I don't think you have to register for a-DMR again, but you may have to designate the right people as submitters for your
stormwater DMR data. I am copying Suzanne McCoy and Annette Lucas who can help with that question
more. Suzanne is out until later this week and won't be able to follow up until then.
There is a lot of good information about the six step process below, including the step where you designate submitters:

Hi Bethany,
Is the COC NCG060031 under General Permit NCG 060000 for our plant been issued yet?
Also, we are in the e-DMR system for our NPDES Permit so will we need to register again in the e-DMR for storm storm
water or are we considered registered already?
Thanks,
Jim

We started making the expiration dates of all general permits in May of the expiration year when we did that batch.
Correct — there is nothing to do as far as annual fee if you have already been invoiced and paid for this permit
year. Invoices should remain on the same schedule for your permit.

Thank you Bethany,
I have a couple of questions:
1) why does the permit expire on May 31 this year instead of the historical dates of October 31?
2) Since we have paid last years renewal but won't be invoiced for this year until after the expiration date of the existing
permit, then there is nothing for us to do for the permit to be renewed?
Best regards,
Jim

You do not need to submit anything to renew a General Permit Certificate of Coverage. As long as all fees are up to date
at the time the Master General Permit NCG060000 is issued (your COC number will have unique digits at the end, by the
way— not just all 0's), then your COC will be automatically renewed. We will send communication to general permit
COC holders about this as renewal gets closer.
Please be sure to check contact information and make sure all of that is up to date ahead of the renewal. You can run a
permit summary report here. Please see the Manage Information section here on our website for instructions on how
to make any necessary updates:
