Dear Sirs and Madams,
Amicus Partners, PLLC (Amicus) is providing you with this Letter regarding the Building Expansion at 1735
Heilig Road, Salisbury, North Carolina. We have reviewed your Prior Comment 10 request for additional
seasonal high groundwater conditions in the "Request for Additional Information" dated November 13, 2020.
Amicus revisited the project site to perform an additional hand auger exploration on November 16, 2020 for
observations of aquatic or groundwater features. Hand augers were conducted at the location of the storm
water management BMP to a depth of 5 feet below existing grades. The hand auger was performed during
dry conditions to a minimum depth of three (3) feet below at the bottom of the elevation layer of the BMP
which corresponds to a depth of 805 feet +/-. Aquatic or redoximorphic features and/or groundwater were
not observed in the hand auger. Indicative seasonal high-water table features were not observed within 3
feet from the proposed bottom of storm water management BMP.
