*The current permit became effective September 1, 2017, and will expire June 30, 2022. The WWTP
staff are currently in the process of completing the permit renewal application.
*The WWTP appeared to be very well operated and maintained. The WWTP staff uses a target mean
cell residence time (MCRT) to adjust sludge wasting rates, which varies between summer and winter
months. At the time of the inspection the MCRT target was 11 days.
*WWTP staff as well as the laboratory staff do a very good job of keeping records of all plant data.
*The aeration basins appeared clean and very well maintained.
*AII of the secondary clarifiers were clean and well maintained.
*The effluent flow meter is calibrated every month by city maintenance personnel.
