Dear Sir:
After reviewing our discussion of November 29th, we •
have agreed to go with your recommendations and approach
Fairfield Harbour ' s wastewater treatment plant expansion
on an incremental basis.
Therefore, we are requesting preliminary approval
for 200, 000 gpd additional facilities and direct discharge
to the waters of Upper Broad Creek. Our present facilities
are permitted for 100, 000 gpd and our average monthly flow
for October was 62, 000 gpd. At the present rate of growth
we will need the additional facilities late in 1983.
It is proposed to use the existing direct discharge
point to Upper Broad Creek. Your assistance in expediting
the waste load allocation in order to proceed with the
facilities design will be appreciated.
